ADA Compliance Statement

Recently, courts have held that The Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") applies to certain websites and requires accommodation for persons with visual impairment, such as closed captioning, written descriptions of images, and audio navigational prompts.  Though most likely not yet required for your website, it's a good idea to at least have a statement of the efforts you are undertaking to voluntarily comply with these rulings.  The ADA Compliance Statement summarizes your efforts to voluntarily comply with Section 508 Guidelines and the World Wide Web Consortium’s Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA.
